According to my LastFM profile:
The Cinematic Orchestra, although heavily listened to, is exaggerated as I made up a playlist of some of their songs which I listened to when I had trouble sleeping. Dawn in particular always helps me relax.
Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard are in for the amazing Batman Begins soundtrack. Tenacious D are in there purely on the strength of their old stuff.
Ironically, the most listened to song by Midwest Product turns out to be the one called Pigeons.
What a legend!

If I ever find the need to use a chat-up line, I think this is the one I'll use. Preferably at the earliest possible opportunity.
Des showed me today. The quote in the title is from him, and I agree completely.
Pandora, by the Music Genome Project, is a tool that suggests music to you. You type in an artist you like, and it suggests similar music to you.
The best part is that these suggestions do not take the form of a list of artists, albums and tracks. Instead, you are given your own music station based on what music you like. You get to hear these tracks.
Fantastic. Bloody fantastic.
I started listening to “A Little Gun Shy” by Brian Douglas... it's not the kind of stuff I'm usually interested in, but I've been singing the song “Sweet, Sweet Favor” all day. It's a great pop song.
There's audio at either of those links. Get listening.
