Oooh-laaa!

The steamer began to move slowly away, but on the land-ward horizon appeared the silhouette of a fighting machine. Another came, and another; striding over hills and trees, plunging far out to sea and blocking the exit of the steamer. Between them lay the silent grey ironclad “Thunder Child”. Slowly it moved towards shore, then with a deafening roar and a woosh of spray, it swung about and drove at full speed towards the waiting martians.

John:

here is one to ponder!

do anyone of you remember an ad that used to be on MTV, it showed a goth teenager walking down a crowded school hall, wearing big headphones, big blue baggy shirt, and black nail varnish, and her happened to be listening to Placebo - Nancy Boy!

well only a select view seem to remember, and after a year of searching for this now seemly non-exsistant commercial, me and my friend aine, have come to the conclusion, that there never really was a commercial fitting this description in the first place, but it was another telling people to OBEY and IDOLIZE A FAKE GOD! (( much like the movie "They Live" ))

but if any of you bright folks have information on this commercial or know where to find it!
Aine, I, and all our believers will be very much pleased! thank you!

David Barrett:

Young John, there was such a commercial. It might be a good idea to get your own blog, where you can post whatever you like and it won't be completely irrelevant.

Older John, yeah I saw that. Bitching.

I love War of The Worlds. Remember all the people in America who were listening to the original broadcast and got spooked and assumed it was a real radio public service announcement? Awesome!

Ps. I love wikipedia right now
