A horrific and barbaric act of cruelty, courtesy of Conall Mahon. I cannot stress this enough: do not watch this if you have a weak stomach. An animal is skinned alive. How much effort would it take to just kill it?

Exactly. It is a disgusting and pointless evil.
Thing is, I'm sure it's been done to humans too.
Apparently Paul, they keep the animal alive so that the hairs rise through adrenaline introduction. This in turn makes the coat puffier, hence, more comfortable as a coat... for humans. The fact they leave the animal dying after words is probably the pinnacle in a completely unjustifiable act of sadism.
for those of you that have Myspace, i would like to bring this to your atention!

Paul Donnan:
That skinning is really terrible... it would literally have take all of 2 seconds to kill it beforehand; even if there is some obscure reason for keeping it alive during the skinning, why the hell didnt they kill it afterwards??? There is no excuses for this kind of cruel behaviour. I have had great enjoyment killing animals for sport, especially when they are further appreciated by eating them or preserving the hide or feathers, but that video is just sick.
