Radio, radio

Looks like I was Spirit FM's first DJ. From 2pm to 3pm today I played some songs, and talked a little crap. Songs in my playlist included:

• Jay Wilson's "What is it about your face" (I think that's what he called it)
• StrongBad's "The System is Down"
• The Soviet National Anthem

It was only a test broadcast, but it was a great laugh. We had a moment's silence for the tree that was sacrificed for the sake of our uplink (we have a 2.4GHz microwave link from the studio in Stillorgan to the transmission site on Three Rock), which was cut short by "Intergalactic" by the Beastie Boys.

Maybe I'll do it again.
